Douglas L. Burgess, Esq. and Amin Khakpouri, Esq. (Universal Title) co-presented a seminar to the Maryland Land Title Association on Deeds, Etc., including the deeds and agreements you will not find in the treatises.
This was a repeat presentation of the seminar to the Baltimore County Bar Association of earlier in the year and included a handout and appendix that included: ground rent deeds, foreclosure deeds, substitute trustee deeds, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, boundary line agreements, neighbor agreements, driveway or septic license agreements, estate deeds, foreign personal representative or executor deeds, disclaimer deeds, confirmatory deeds, minor subdivision deeds, deed with assumption of deed of trust, divorce deeds, former domestic partner deeds, etc. A package of materials and sample forms was handed out for participants to study and use as a starting point in drafting deeds and agreements for Maryland real property and land record transactions.
